Help a vet avoid being homeless again!

Hello Friends,

My name is Ron. I am a child abuse survivor, a US Army Veteran and a recent victim of identity theft. I could really use some help. My home is threatened as I am in the process of declaring bankruptcy because of the ID theft.

The bank has not been very helpful with the investigation. They say they cannot show me the information they have, yet they hold me liable for the damages somebody else has caused me. The credit card companies were just as useful.

As I said, they are holding me liable for what some crook did and I could not believe it. In late May of 2017, I contacted a bankruptcy attorney. There was no way out of this mess, but at least the credit card company is a little nicer and more helpful to me. The bank remains as "the bank".

However, the debt is great, I have made late payments, but the mortgage company is at least making some effort to help me with spacing out payments, but this is difficult as my credit payments are higher now, even though they are about to be consolidated. It looks like I will end up losing this house, too.

I worked incredibly hard to pull myself out of the gutter. I do not want to be a homeless vet again. Please help me. I would like to stay here, but cannot do so without your help.

Please help and donate. https://www.gofundme.com/please-help-this-vet-keep-his-home

Boy scout building a memorial for the fallen soldiers in north bellmore ny.

HI

My name is John Benson I just read the story from the boy from north Bellmore new York playing his instrument for a disabled veteran after Memorial day parade was cancelled. The story said if we know of any kids helping Veterans to write in. I myself am a disabled Veteran my son John 111 is doing a memorial stone for our town’s Veterans memorial park. The last stone in the park was for the Vietnam war. John is a life scout with boy scout troop 192 in Bellmore NY. For his Eagle project he is doing a stone that will update the park and will be the last memorial to fit in the town square. He is working with the Bellmore V F W post 2770. The stone will include The Cold War, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and the Afghanistan War. He asked me for permission to do a memorial for the park to give back to the Veterans as I served during the Cold War, his grandfather served during the Vietnam War, and his great grandfather served in WW2. After getting the boy scouts permission John approached the V F W and they jumped on board to help with this project. John hopes to raise money through bake sales, car washes, spaghetti dinners tee shirt and magnet sales ect. The hope is to have the stone in place for Veterans day 2017

Veterans who is Disabled collecting 100 percent service connected needs to have G4implants

To whom it may concern can you please try to convince Senators and Representatives who is on the Board of Veteran Affairs Committee in Washington, DC. passed a new Disabled Veteran Benefit Law which is if a Disabled Veteran who is collecting 100 percent service connected should be granted get the G4implants for free because it wasn't for Veterans we would not be call United States plus who would Defend United States. Even if the Cosmetic Dentistry Dentist that knows how to put in G4implants wants the all the money upfront from the Veteran Affairs Administration. Thanks

Vit Nam outreach center, Richmond va.

Somehow I stumbled onto this site and saw the name Dan Doyle - hopefully. This is Captain Dan Doyle who ran the Vet Center in Richmond Va. He, along with Dr. John Slattery, saved my life and my family. I just lost my wife of almost 45 years to cancer and was wishing for someone like them. These two men got me "Bach on track", have given me a wonderful life. Gentlemen, than you and I hope your lives have been as blessed as mine.

Online Portals Accelerate the Veteran Benefit Processes

Our ex-army men and people, who have served our nation in any sense, surely deserve honor and immense respect. Our government runs many programs for the further betterment and improvement of their lives or their families by running many services like jobs and loans. There are certain portals which fast-forward this process by acting as catalyst about the awareness of such programs and picking such opportunities.

There are these online portals where one can learn more about benefits provided by the United States Military for their turn our men and women. There are programs which help the spouse or the family of the ex-army men or men associated with other defense services. These portals will tell about the job fair. There are education benefits especially for military education and loans available with associated benefits also for veterans and by subscribing to these online portals, one can get access to such information or facilities through newsletters. There are certain discounts available as well.

Security jobs for veterans are available otherwise as well as many corporates trust veterans suitable for such jobs. These portals list such jobs also and help veterans to reach the right place at right time. This is essential to make the life of veterans worthy of living as associated honor in being a veteran might not be sufficient at times to run the family or just being the family of a veteran will not fetch money to earn the living, at times. So as per the skills and interest of the veteran or his family members, these portals can help them get the right, relevant and related job or other information.

One of the executive at Military Connection told us,” We provide all the latest information about federal jobs available as well as corporate listings. One just needs to register at www.militaryconnection.com to get an access.”

Shoe Shine Girl

My father was stationed at Oakland Army Base when I was 11 yrs old. There was not a lot to do on this base for kids. So I decided I would make money polishing boots for the GI's. My dad had taught his kids how to polish his boots. At that time he had 5 girls and 1 son. I would sit under the shade tree between the PX and the church . There I would sit and talk and polish these GI,s boots. At the time I had no concept of how young they were. Nor did I ever think some would not come home, because my dad had came home twice . Through the years since I have often thought of them and have always prayed they all made it home. I remember how they talked about there families they were leaving behind. And even as a child I knew how sad they were but also how brave and proud they were to go.

I made enough money to buy my shoe shine kit at the PX. Got in trouble a few times for being late for dinner . but have the best childhood memory ever. Thank you for letting me share this story and God Bless all those young men and their loved ones they left behind.

Shapes

Oh my God, they're coming again!

I'm so very scared…I don't want to die!

I look over the lip of my hole and see

the gray floating shapes below

shapes moving from tree to tree

shapes moving up the hill

shapes moving to kill me

shapes moving to take away my dreams

I raise my rifle and aim at a floating shape below

now closer…now more clear

I pull the trigger and a shape falls to the ground

grasping at itself

Other shapes…clearer still are coming at me

shooting at me

throwing grenades at me

coming for me

I can see the smoke from the barrels of their rifles

feel the closeness of the passing bullets

the concussion of their exploding grenades

the screech of passing rockets

the wail of their trumpets

the shriek of their whistles

I'm screaming and shaking with fear

but I aim carefully at shapes below

pulling the trigger…over and over again

Can't miss…almost out of ammo

can't miss…can't waste a round

there are shapes everywhere

so many shapes

God help me - please

I squeeze the trigger but noting happens

Oh God - I'm out of ammo!!!

I pull the magazine from my rifle and reach for another

I search and can't find one…panic, panic, panic

I find one…my last, and jerk it into place

Aim and fire, aim and fire and fire and fire

more shapes falling to the ground

bodies everywhere

death is all around me.

Shapes are coming

shapes everywhere

shapes coming at me

so many shapes

Help me!!

Misty Dreaming

Another night of old terrors!!

Misty dreaming with the Raven of War

upon my shoulder, speaking of all life

that has been lost and of all the death that

has been lived.

Where have you gone my Scouts,

my friends, my brothers?

Why am I alone in my return from

where none can ever return?

I no longer weep for myself, I weep

for all that have seen the horrors

of war.

I see more clearly now, for in silence

there is a vast echo of screaming...

and gunfire...and dying men...

dying friends!

How can I be here and almost

always there?
